We are a diverse group of volunteers who care deeply about our shared humanity with asylum seekers. Through free English classes at COA centres, we support students in reclaiming their agency and confidence, creating a warm and safe community for all.

By helping us offer free English lessons at local COA centres, you can make a meaningful difference to asylum seekers. Fluent English is the only skill that's required, and we have multiple days, time and locations where you can join classes.

Our approach
Our students have a wide range of English language skills—some speak well but don't read yet, while others write fluently but are shy to talk. We bridge these gaps by providing a safe and reliable learning environment, where students feel comfortable and learn through a mix of instruction, conversation, interactive games, and real-life activities to keep learning accessible and fun for all.Our approach
